European Parliament LGBTI Intergroup publishes 'conversion therapies' briefing
The Global Equality Caucus welcomes a new briefing from the European Parliament’s Intergroup on LGBTI Rights, which outlines different laws that prohibit ‘conversion therapy’ in EU Member States.
The briefing examines laws that are already in place as well as those proposed for adoption.
It also compares each law based on how conversion practices are defined, how the law deals with sanctions, and the scope of protection.
