Lawmakers for LGBT+ Equality, presented by the Global Equality Caucus and supported by Google, is an online series of digital content where elected representatives connect with civil society and members of the LGBT+ community to discuss the issues that matter. Not only do they give LGBT+ people a voice during uncertain times, these events mobilise legislators to take action and feed back the issues to their national governments, parliaments and in international conferences.
SIX DIGITAL EVENTS, ONE FOR EACH REGION OF THE WORLD
Each event has a regional focus and draw attention to specific issues affecting LGBT+ people in each global region. Civil society and members of the LGBT+ community can speak with elected representatives in order to highlight the challenges LGBT+ people face in their region and across the globe.
